Over recent months we have seen an enormous growth in both claims for unfair dismissal and redundancy advice. However, there is a noticeable advantage in taking advice and using our letters and documentation to ensure that the process is as flawless as possible, avoiding the fall-out of claims.

We have also noticed that the insurance or indemnity based advisers fight shy of giving positive advice, particularly to dismiss, whilst our clients say they need strong advice so that they can take action to deal with staff who do not meet their business requirements.

Dealing with claims is largely about a combination of knowledge of the law and robust bargaining, in order to avoid the cost and stress of going to Tribunal. This is a particular area of specialisation and there have been many notable successes over the last few years.
