You can receive regular updates from ACAS about courses, changes in the law and recent cases etc.
This recent case law is important as it may take effect immediately under English law:
The European Court of Justice ruled last week that mobile (peripatetic) workers with no fixed base
can include travel time as working time.
If you employ people involved in sales, driving from home every day to visit customers; or if you are a care worker, visiting clients at home; or even engineers, who just go to customers’ premises, this is highly relevant to your business. I believe it could also take in construction workers who travel from say Dorset to work in London.
This judgment will undoubtedly have a significant impact on many employers in our region.
